Jiangsu Shangchi Group Co., Ltd. was established in Jan. 1995 invested in by Shanghai Auto Group Shanghai Gear Works and Jiangsu Liyang Gear Company. Our company was reformed as a nongovernmental business firm in Sep. 2002. At present, the total assets of our company are 260 million RMB, and the building area is 50,000m2. There are 380 employees in our company, more than half of whom are engineering staff members. We attained ISO9002 Quality System certificate in 1998. We successfully attained ISO9001:2002 Quality System certificate in Apr. 2002. We attained ISO/TS16949:2002 version Quality System certificate in Jul. 2004. Our company specializes in manufacturing spiral bevel gears which are used in the rear axles of automobiles and engineering vehicles and the cylindrical gears used in transmission cases. Our company has more than 400 sets of main production and inspection equipment, about half of which come from Gleason Co. (the USA). Our annual production capacity: 800,000 sets of spiral bevel gears and 800,000 pieces of cylindrical gears. Our company owns the independent right of import and export, and our products are exported to many countries such as Germany, Singapore, Italy, Canada, and Japan. Our company possesses an enormous domestic market; our main products are supplied to several domestic auto manufacturing companies. Our main goods are JAC series; Qingling series, JMC series, TRANSIT series, Dongfeng EQ series, Jiefang CA series, Nanjing Iveco series, STR series, Zhenhua Port Machinery, and Xvgong Machinery, and we directly supply our products to about one hundred cooperating auto companies. We attach importance to product quality and honest business; our products were successively estimated as "Good Qualify Products" by Chinese Quality Inspection Committee, and "Products of Perfect Quality" by Technique Inspection Information Committee of P.R. China. We won honors such as "Perfect Service Trustworthy Brand of China" and "Branded Enterprise" issued by Strategic Research Center of China Branded Enterprises.
